What We Did

Walatowa High Charter School (WHCS) is a public charter high school located on the Jemez Pueblo in New Mexico. The school needed a modern, easy-to-use website to serve students, families, and staff—while also providing clear access to important documents, forms, and events.

We built a custom WordPress website focused on accessibility, clarity, and organization. One of the key features is a robust document library that allows visitors to easily browse and download forms, policies, applications, and resources without digging through confusing navigation. This system is easy for school staff to update and manage on the backend using standard WordPress tools.

We also implemented The Events Calendar to power their online school calendar, with clear displays of holidays, events, and academic activities. To improve parent communication, we developed custom Gravity Forms for things like reporting student absences and requesting information—streamlining tasks that were once manual or paper-based.

The WHCS site is a clean, functional platform that reflects the school’s commitment to academic excellence and community service, while giving families and staff the tools they need to stay informed and engaged.
