What We Did

The Museum of American Glass in West Virginia (MAGWV) is a nonprofit institution dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history of American glassmaking. Located in Weston, WV, the museum features a vast physical collection and an active educational mission. They needed a modern website that could support a large amount of content, engage the public, and streamline interactions like donations, event registration, and membership sign-ups.

We designed and developed a fully custom WordPress site that has grown to include over 90 pages of content. The project includes the integration of the Marble Museum, now housed within MAGWV’s site structure, as well as a robust weekly blog called Museum Monday Treasures, which highlights a specific piece or collection from the museum each week.

To support their nonprofit operations and online engagement, we built a series of custom forms using Gravity Forms. These include donation forms, event registrations, product purchases, and a full membership registration system. Each form is designed for ease of use and fully integrated into the site’s design and user flow.

The site successfully combines education, eCommerce, and nonprofit functionality while remaining accessible, engaging, and easy for staff to manage. It serves as both an online extension of the museum and a central hub for outreach and support.
